Subaru Factory Tour

Come join the SubieCrew for a cat walk tour of the Subaru Factory! It’s approx 1.5 hours on the catwalk above the production floor. (A bird’s eye view!) You’ll see each of the 4 major areas: Stamping, Body Construction, Paint Shop, and Trim & Final. Stamping: Steel and aluminum pieces get stamped into actual car parts using huge Transfer Presses. Body Construction: Watch those pieces get welded together using 1,600 robots. Paint: Watch a short paint video of the entire paint process. Trim & Final: Final assembly (Subaru driving off the final line) and quality inspection before it gets shipped out. AGES 10+ ONLY ALLOWED We will be on an elevated catwalk, walking a fast-walking pace up and down 250 individual stair steps, and walking 3,500 steps total. There are no restrooms, sitting or break areas on the tour route. Due to safety concerns and requirements, they cannot allow crutches, casts,wheelchairs, canes, or other immobilization devices on the catwalk. *please note, we will need names of all people attending the factory tour, as requested by the factory, we are working on being able to add numbers to the rsvp but please email me at martine.locke@gmail.com if you are bringing extra people with you*
