MSF 2026 - Scenic Ridge Tour

Hey SubieCrew! Join up for a Scenic Trail Driving Tour at Pennsylvania's Michaux State Forest on Saturday, November 7th, 2026 at 11am. This driving tour is a loop that begins/ends at Milesburn Road and with a couple of detours will be approximately 40 miles roundtrip. It's been a tradition of mine the past 5 years to visit this area in October/November. The weather is usually just starting to cool now and the fall colors are just around the corner. Definitely one of my favorite times to visit! Aiming to meet up at Blue Ridge Food Market at 10:30-11am (15010 Buchanan Trail E, Blue Ridge Summit, PA 17214). Blue Ridge Food Market is a great touchdown place to grab gas and any last minute drink/snacks for our journeys. Hoping to leave Blue Ridge Food Market by 11:15ish and start our adventures from there to convoy together for about a 4-5 hour loop to visit a variety of lookout points connected by a series of moderately maintained dirt/gravel service roads. About 25% of the way into the trip there is a reservoir we can stop at. 40% of the way in there is also a 4 mile hike (Rocky Knob Trail) that we can walk together if interested.
