Hoosier Cruisers Cares: A Volunteer Morning at IACS
Community Kit
Indianapolis pet lovers, start your engines! The Hoosier Cruisers Subie Group is rolling up to Indianapolis Animal Care Services for a day dedicated to our furry and feline friends. Whether you’re a hardcore car enthusiast or just passionate about animals, join us as we lend a helping hand to the pets in our community.
Volunteers will tackle a variety of hands-on tasks that directly improve the lives of the animals at IACS, including:
• Preparing nutritious treats and meals
• Enrichment activities and playtime to keep dogs mentally stimulated and happy
• Dog walking and exercise
• Cuddle time and socialization with our kitty friends
This is more than just a volunteer day, it’s a chance for our community to come together and make a real difference. Every task, big or small, helps ensure these pets receive the care and attention they deserve while they wait for their forever homes.
All skill levels welcome. No prior experience needed, just bring your love for animals and your community spirit! Please note, IACS has requested ages 9+ only.
Orientation will begin at 10am (just look for the Subiecrew tent!) but you’re unable to turn up until later, you will be placed into one of the group activities happening at the time.
Entry to parking lot is off Emerson Avenue.
IACS has asked people to bring gardening gloves and scissors to help remove construction netting from the grassed areas - dogs are getting stuck in it and they need ou help to remove it!
